Carry out drink counter
Carry out drink area of the restaurant

We are a Counter Order eatery, like Panera Bread and others. Our restaurant is located just outside of Fair Haven NY that can be found along the Great Lakes Seaway Trail. Our goal is making you feel at home as if you are like one of the family. Posted proudly above our kitchen door is the signage: The Gathering Place; Sit Long-Talk Much-Laugh Often. Thus, why our tagline is: The Cozy Eatery – Where Friends and Family Gather.

Our breakfast and lunch menu of items consist of homemade pastries, breads, biscuits with gravy/chicken, fresh corn beef, sandwiches and warps, salads, soups, chili, pastas, Friday Fish, french fries, sweet potato fries amongst other surprises and specials. There is a great coffee and tea bar along with bottled drinks for those that are on the run for carry-out.

Speaking about carry-out there is an available Build a Box Breakfast and/or Lunch Special for those of you that are on the run.

Otherwise, the atmosphere has cozy spots to sit and relax where one can sit and stare at the fish tank, play board games, read a book, toys to occupy the kids, and Wi-Fi along with USB ports for Internet surfing amongst other things to do. We will also have special family events such as our annual Easter Egg Hunt, Cookie Decorating, Game Night and other activities.

A little bit about myself, I grew up in the Fair Haven and Sterling area of New York State. Spent my childhood time playing in the great outdoors of New York state. I learned to love to read and cook during this time. I headed off to Johnson & Wales University for a culinary arts degree in Providence RI. I spent a couple of summers with my aunt on Cape Cod MA honing my cooking skills. I eventually came back to the Fair Haven and Sterling area to work in the food business industry.

It was here in the Finger Lakes area of New York that I met my wife and had 2 wonderful sons. We took a leave of absence from New York to live in Orlando FL area where my kids grew up. I even had the opportunity for several years to work for Mickey Mouse in his Grand Floridian Café while in Florida. After the passing of my wife to cancer I returned to New York to start my own diner. I wanted to bring what I have learned over the years back to be a blessing in my hometown area. Now that you know a little bit about me, stop by so that I can learn a little bit about you at The Cozy Eatery – Where Friends and Family Gather…
